QuikCast Overview

Need to share a snapshot of something from your desktop either to an individual person or a group inside a conference room setting?  QuikCast allows you to broadcast screen shots from your desktop either by a region of your screen or the entire screen itself.

Imagine being in an Instant Messenger conversation (Skype, MSN, Yahoo, etc) and you are reviewing something on your screen that you need to show someone.  Just send them a URL via chat, "snap" your screen with QuikCast and they see your desktop in their browser.  It's that easy.

Have a group you are presenting to in a conference while doing a training?  No need to labor hours over making slides via complicated presentation software or making graphic slides.  Simply "push" the QuikCast URL through the room and then take snapshots right from your desktop as you do your training.

QuikCast is ideal for group situations because of it's "built in" QDrive Turbo "load balancing" techniques.  Once you snap an image, it is automatically replicated within seconds across multiple servers.  Then the content sent to QuikCast is automatically distributed to viewers from multiple sources (rather than just one).  This speeds up the delivery time to your viewers. (from snapshot to delivery to viewers normally within 5-7 seconds).

QuikCast not only has the ability to send images, but it can store them locally right on your hard drive as you snap them for your use later.  Give your training, then in conjunction with QStudio, build a narrated (either by text or audio) presentation of your training for distribution later.
